This is always the most common question with any procedure. Like many cosmetic procedures, this is an outpatient surgery. The duration of the surgery is dependant on how extensive your specific procedure is and whether or not you are pairing it with other procedures. (Such as facial Liposuction or facial implants)
Any facial surgery raises the question of will there be scarring? Dr. Larsen is very intentional about where the incisions are placed to minimize any scaring, no one needs to know you had this procedure unless you elect to tell them.
Immediately following surgery for the incisions they will be sealed with either staples or sutures, and those will be removed roughly a week after your surgery. The good news is that most patients who receive this procedure experience very little pain with this recovery. Headaches and a feeling of tightness across the forehead are very common immediately after this procedure. As with most cosmetic procedures swelling and bruising immediately following surgery are common but pass quickly. Most patients find that these issues are largely resolved within the first 10 days of recovery.
